Dr. Douglas Melgar considers himself a progressive dentist. He’s dedicated to providing the best quality of care and committed to achieving the highest standards in General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry by utilizing modern technology with a gentle, hands-on approach.
Dr. Douglas Melgar graduated from one of the most prestigious Universities in El Salvador and Mexico, where he became a Doctor of Dental Surgery with a specialty in Orthodontics. After immigrating to the US, he submitted his State Board at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, and obtained his license from the Dental Board of California.
He found interest in the practice of Implant Dentistry. For that reason, He decided to study at the Implant program offered at the University of Loma Linda in California. Upon completion in 2013, Dr. Melgar has been placing Implants of the most prestigious brand in the US (Straumann, Biohorizons) in the San Pablo Community.
